just this morning again II

Jardim das Amoreiras, 8.15 AM.Rain gave us a break today.

look: the aqueduct!

The aqueduct used to cross the Infante Santo Avenue valley. In the 1950s when the new avenue was built, the arches were dismantled. There are remains in both sides of the valley.
The water used to run from Necessidades covent to Janelas Verdes.

resuming

CNN, Clube Nacional de Natação, past Thursday, January 14th.

Portugal is back in confinement. A strange one since all schools, from kindergarten to post-graduate university studies are open to in-person teaching… However, I had to give up swimming every day. I had resumed swimming in January after a self imposed break, thinking that things were starting to normalize, but no.

So, I’m back to my long walks… and morning sketches.

it should be a christmas tree

Some city trees should be decorated as christmas trees. They stand and look like one already. Not being chopped off and transported to some square is quite an advantage.
