Arriving in Lisbon, the aqueduct starts to generate big reservoirs. This one was not in the original plan and was built in the 20th century. It is still operating, although the water doesn’t come from the aqueduct. These little temples are the working entrances. A few years ago, a project was made for a golf training club but the surrounding inhabitants protested. Some balls were thrown still, but the project was cancelled. Huge money losses, then. The club’s main building is still there, ghostly looking to the immaculate lawn. When I started this sketch, a guy arrived on this car and parked right in front of me, although there were two parking spaces just behind him. He looked at me and proceeded to exit and lock the car… I like to draw cars anyway.
