Sometimes is nice to remember that our coast North of Lisbon is straight in front of Washington

the other side of the aqueduct

On this side we can see the aqueduct’s change in direction and how deep it goes into the landscape (cityscape, in our days).

Second day of rain in Lisbon. Didn’t went out for a drawing.

So, here goes one from early August unpublished then. It’s a view of the Basilica from Rua de Buenos Aires.

A break from my project on the aqueduct. This section of Amoreiras has a Brazilian flair because of the stark contrast between the new, the old and the upcoming. The top floor of the tall building in the right “Edifício Satélite”, stands higher than any other in Lisbon.
