Second day of rain in Lisbon. Didn’t went out for a drawing.
So, here goes one from early August unpublished then. It’s a view of the Basilica from Rua de Buenos Aires.
A break from my project on the aqueduct. This section of Amoreiras has a Brazilian flair because of the stark contrast between the new, the old and the upcoming. The top floor of the tall building in the right “Edifício Satélite”, stands higher than any other in Lisbon.
Rua Nova do Loureiro, 8.40 AM. I had to do this one before the view is closed forever. Cloudy day again. I guess I’ll have to make a few chiaroscuros in one day.
Calçada do Combro, 8.15 AM. I had to interrupt due to cold weather. A northwest wind called Nortada was just blowing me to single digits Celcius temperature. I’ll be back tomorrow.
Rua da Rosa, 8.10 AM
Ginásio Clube Português stairs, 7.45 AM
