the actual chapel (the size of a medium church) was the old sacristry of the destroyed college of sto Antão, a jesuit facility vacant after the expulsion of the company by marquis de Pombal a few years before

last week I had to go to the hospital to have my head scanned (what else!). I was there at 8h and after register I knew I had to way a lot, but not enough to do anything else but strolling in the hospital.

The hospital is S. José, a former convent in the centre of the city. It was partially destroyed in 1755 earthquake and rebuilt with some traces of its former splendor.

conference and workshop in museu das comunicações – Lisboa

A razão pela qual tenho vindo a publicar fotografias tiradas nos Estados Unidos no verão de 2011 é porque essa viagem vai ser o tema da minha comunicação no museu das comunicações de Lisboa, na rua do instituto industrial, pertinho do IADE, pelas 15h de sábado dia 11 de Maio. A entrada na conferência é grátis, já o workshop é pago (15€)
